Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2001 <br /> LANGSTON'S MARKET <br /> I15615 South 7`h Street, Lathrop, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr James Langston of Langston's Market, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 15615 South 7"'Street,Lathrop, <br /> California The scope of work included advancement of three soil borings, quarterly ground water <br /> monitoring and preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding <br /> area are illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring well locations on the site are illustrated <br /> on Figure 2 <br /> Background information and details of previous investigation at the site were included in the report <br /> titled Interim Secondary Source Removal and Monitoring Well Replacement,dated 05 October 1995 <br /> and several quarterly reports, prepared by WHF, Inc <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region (RWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)guidelines for investigating underground storage tank(UST)sites and sampling ground water <br /> monitoring wells, respectively <br />' 21 ADVANCEMENT OF SOIL PROBE BORINGS <br /> On 29 and 30 November 2001, three soil borings were advanced under the supervision of a <br /> California Registered Geologist, in accordance with the AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment <br /> Work Plan Addendum-November 2000, approved by the EHD by letter dated 22 December 2000 The <br /> soil borings were advanced utilizing a van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit <br />' equipped with 1 25-inch diameter probing rods,the probing unit advances soil probe borings using <br /> a hydraulic hammer to drive soil and ground water sampling tools to specified depths <br /> All probe borings were advanced to a total depth of 50 feet bsg Probe boring B-5 was advanced <br /> immediately adjacent to monitoring well MW-5, at the UST area, boring B-6 was advanced <br /> approximately 60 feet northwest of B-5 and boring B-9 was advanced approximately 65 feet <br />' northeast of MW-5 (Figure 2) <br /> I <br /> • <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
