The project proposes to build a
four-bedroom, three-bath, single family manufactured home with an onsite septic system and new
domestic well. The parcel map showing the location of the proposed four-bedroom residence, well,
and septic system is included as Plate 3,in Appendix A.
2.0 PAST,PRESENT AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES
Past use consists of agriculture land use, primarily vineyard. Current use is vacant land. Proposed
future use is the planned four-bedroom, three-bathroom single family residence with associated
domestic well and septic system.A second dwelling is not planned at this time.
3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage,Permits and Repair History
There are no permits available for review related to the Site; there is no known history of onsite
septic usage,permits,or repair history.
3.2 Expected Maximum Septic Tank Usage for Site
Expected maximum septic tank usage for the Site is to accommodate a proposed four-bedroom,
three-bath,single-family residence.
3.3 General Area Septic Tank Usage,Permit, and Repair History
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed a
recent aerial photograph available from GoogleEarthTM. We counted the clusters within
approximately one square mile of the site, with the assumption each building cluster has one septic
system. Using this method, we determined there are approximately 50 septic systems per square
mile in the immediate vicinity of the site. This is a low amount of septic systems, with the majority of
these systems located on large tracts of agricultural land.
The EHD septic permit files were obtained from the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department
(EHD) Online EHD Program Records3 in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any septic tanks
located within the general area of the subject property.
3 https://(fweb.sjgov.org/WebLink/Browse.aspx?dbid=1ftcr=1 accessed September 9, 2019
Petralogix Engineering,Inc.
26675 Bruella Road,Galt,Ca 95632
(209)-400-5729
www.petralogix.com
