Your note stated that Patten Steel Company is no longer in business <br /> and filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. in January 1990. Your note also stated that <br /> Patten Steel sold the property to Bar A Enterprises in September 1989. <br /> We have contacted Diane Hinson, San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> (County) who has stated that the County placed the site in the Local Oversight <br /> Program and identified you as the responsible party (property owner) on <br /> August 14, .1990 (copy enclosed) . From that date until September 7,_ 1990 when <br /> a closure was issued on the site, the County worked directly with you as the <br /> responsible party. At no time was the County notified that the property had <br /> been sold or that Patten Steel Company had filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. <br /> If you have documentation to show filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, please <br /> submit that documentation to us.
