A topographic site location map is presented + <br /> on Figure 1. <br /> The system was installed to remediate impacted groundwater and soil at <br /> D E. L T°A the Site, in 'accordance with State of California regulations. The <br /> remediation system consists .of air sparging (AS) and soil vapor <br /> extraction (SVE) applied in unison to the impacted. areas. The overall <br /> system includes 13 AS wells and f=ive (S) SVE wells. A site details map, <br /> including the layout of the Remediation System, is presented on Figure <br /> 2. <br /> REMEDIATION SYSTEM OPERATIONS AND MONITORING I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Delta has installed and operated an approved soiland groundwater <br /> remediation system at the site under the following timeline: <br /> Feil-Mar 2004: A remediation system was installed at the site as i <br /> indicated by the layout on Figure 2. The system consisted of air <br /> sparging (AS) in. conjunction with soil Vapor extraction (SVE). <br /> Initially, a trailer-mounted internal combustion engine (ICE) unit, <br /> which also destroyed hydrocarbon vapors recovered from the <br /> subsurface; provided vacuum for the SVE system.
