��ED t <br /> I N v <br /> .�NcESti� <br /> ICanteen Facility July 10, 2001 <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Monitonn Re ort Page 2 <br /> I • gasoline oxygenates including t-Butanol (TBA), Methyl-t-Butyl Ether (MTBE), Di- <br /> isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl-t-Butyl Ether (ETBE), t-Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME), <br /> 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and ethylene dibromide (EDB) (method 8260B) <br /> • Prepared this 2001 Second Quarterly Monitoring Report summarizing the findings of the <br /> Iquarterly activities <br /> This report presents field observations, results, conclusions and recommendations for additional <br /> work AES has prepared this report in accordance with generally accepted environmental <br /> practice <br /> SITE INVESTIGATION & RESULTS <br /> The procedures, field notes, and laboratory reports submitted by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> r Inc (AGE) for this quarterly monitoring event are attached as Appendix A <br /> 1 MONITOR WELL SAMPLING <br /> Upon arrival at the Site, the well caps were opened to allow the wells to achieve static <br /> conditions The wells were then gauged to measure groundwater elevations (Table 1) and <br /> Ipurged with a submersible Grundfos& pump until three casing volumes of groundwater had been <br /> recovered Field measurements for conductivity, pH and temperature were taken during purging <br /> to ensure the collection of formation groundwater Groundwater samples were collected by <br /> AGE from the seventeen monitor wells on May 10, 2001 <br /> During purging of the monitor wells, neither non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) nor hydrocarbon <br /> sheen were noted on the purged groundwater Gasoline odors were detected in monitor wells <br /> MW-3A, MW-5 and MW-13 <br /> After purging, samples were collected using pre-cleaned disposable bailers and then transferred <br /> to laboratory provided containers for analysis of TPH(g), BTEX, TBA, MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, <br /> TAME, 1,2-DCA and EDB The samples were transported under chain-of-custody to <br /> McCampbell Analytical, Inc , of Pacheco, California, a California accredited analytical <br /> laboratory <br /> GROUNDWATER CONDITIONS <br /> IThe following summarizes the local groundwater gradient and the groundwater analytical results <br /> I <br />
