(OxyChem), SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Case#4397
We have reviewed the Monitoring Report Frequency Reduction report dated 1 May 2000, as
prepared by CRA Inc., on behalf of Glenn Springs Holdings, Inc. (GSHI). GSHI requested the
consolidation of semi-annual reports and quarterly reports such that there will only be five
reports submitted annually for the project, the purpose being to reduce the overall costs
associated with the preparation of these reports while still providing the requested information in
a concise and cost effective manner. You have also agreed to include isopleths and trend surface
plots for the sulfolane plume in all future semi-annual reports.
We find the changes to the monitoring report frequency acceptable. Furthermore, Lathrop
District Well Operations must also continue to be submitted on a quarterly basis. Please submit a
revised Monitoring and Operations Schedule, including a sampling and analysis plan,
by 1 June 2000.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (916) 255-3078 or cchwahko-rbis ssrcb ca.gov.
't4"
KIM A.
