SAN J O A Q I I I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— Y AMENDED <br /> 3/6/2019 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Fernandez Auto Body&Paint 2226 N Wilson Way, Stockton February 28, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 105 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No emergency coordinator. <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan with an assigned emergency coordinator was not posted at <br /> the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br /> arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection Arturo Fernandez.An emergency <br /> coordinator and modified contingency plan was posted during the inspection. No further action is required to <br /> correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Sergio Fernandez indicated he has not been trained <br /> in proper waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
