The site is adjacent
to the proposed expansion of the Auto Center which is now being
annexed to the city.
Our Commission' s policy encourages that such development occur
within the city in order to receive the full range of city ser-
vices, including city sewer and water. However, there seems to
be time problem with the city annexation and therefore county
permits have been requested. With cooperation of all involved,
it may be possible to start construction under county permits
with annexation to the city to follow.
If construction is to proceed in the unincorporated area, the
owners should arrange for the project to be connected to the city' s
sewer, water and storm drainage systems . Subsequently, the site
should be annexed to the city along with the annexation of the
Auto Center expansion.
Sincerely,
RALD 4OTT
Executive Officer
GFS : jdh
cc : John Carlson, Stockton Community Development Director
Emile Atwood, Associate Pastor, Christian Life Center
