Handicapped spaces are 14 feet by 20 feet . RV and bus spaces are 10 feet by 40 feet . The applicant has not provided a construction schedule for on-site parking facilities, and in fact , all parking will be required to be constructed in Phase I . The proposed parking facilities are inadequate to support the Christian Life Center project . As noted in the staff report above, the parking facilities should be relocated outside of the ground' s maintenance and storage area. For 20 buses, this would require the provision of an additional 40 standard size parking spaces . There is some question as to whether parking for 20 buses will be sufficient to accommodate large scale, regional , or State religious gatherings . In such gatherings , it is likely that visitors from out of town will travel in buses . In addition, the present congregation uses 20 buses . The occupancy of the proposed project will exceed the present congregation by approximately six times . Therefore, additional parking spaces should be provided for buses . The number of parking spaces for recreational vehicles (RV) should be in addition to automobile parking facilities. The 21 RV spaces proposed will occupy 42 standard vehicle spaces. This would eliminate 21 automobile parking spaces . As with buses, regional gatherings will be expected to generate substantially larger RV traffic than would normal local opera- tions.
