PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> A site specific health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and <br /> Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational <br /> Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, <br /> 1985).Prior to mobilization,each proposed soil boring location will be clearly marked and an utility <br /> r clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. <br /> 3.2. PROBING AND COLLECTION OF SOIL SAMPLES <br /> Confirmation soil samples will be collected from the"core"petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted area <br /> at the site. AGE proposes to advance the soil borings in the following locations (Figure 2): <br /> i <br /> • At the location of vapor well VW-4; <br /> At the location of vapor well VW-2d; <br /> • At the location of vapor well VW-5s/d; and <br /> At the location of the dispenser sample. <br /> 1 <br /> Soil borings will be advanced to approximately.30 feet bsg. Soil samples be ollected-ever-y3 <br /> 5'feet beginning at 15 feet bsg:Field procedures for advancement of borings and collection of soil <br /> I samples are presented in Sections 4.1. and 4.2., respectively.
