REPORT PREPARATION
r
Upon completion of field work,a report will be prepared presenting the findings of the investigation.
The report will include a description of the work performed, results of the sampling and laboratory
analysis, results for the site as compared to the environmental screening level adopted by the EHD,
i and possible analysis with an indoor air exposure pathway model (Johnson and Ettinger).
fConclusions and applicable recommendations will be included in the report. The report will be in
a format acceptable to the EHD and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional
Geologist.
1
4.4. FIELD PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California
1 Professional Geologist. Procedures for,the advancement/destruction of soil probe borings, soil
sampling equipment decontamination, and sample shipment are outlined below.
I
' 4.1. PROBE BORING ADVANCEMENT
Each probe boring will be advanced using a van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit
equipped with 1.25-inch,stainless steel, hollow probing rods. The Geoprobe rods are advanced using
a hydraulic hammer to drive the attached soil sampling and soil gas sampling tool to specified
depths.
4.2. COLLECTION OF SOIL SAMPLES
4
Soil borings will be sampled at discreet 5-foot`int als,'beginning at 5`feet_bsg;toithe total depth,>
of the borings using a 1.25-inch Geoprobe soil sampling assembly loaded with four 6-inch brass
i sleeves. Upon sample retrieval, the ends of the second sleeve will be covered with Teflon sheets,
r
1 Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc.
