GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Grab ground water samples will be collected from three probe borings using a Geoprobe water <br /> sampling assembly. Samples will be collected`into:40-ml volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials, <br /> I-liter amber containers, as appropriate for the requited analyses. Ground water sample collection <br /> procedures are presented in Section 4.1.2. <br /> Groundwater samples will be analyzed by a DHS-ce'rtified laboratory for: <br /> • TPH-g and TPH-d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified, <br /> • BTE X in accordance with EPA Method 8020 or 8260; and <br /> The fuel additives: DIPS, ETRE,MTBE,,TAME, TBA, 1,2-DCA and EDB in accordance <br /> with EPA Method 8260 Modified. <br /> Laboratory reports for groundwater analyses,testing,methods,laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control(QA/QC)reports,and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report <br /> with the findings and recommendations. <br /> 3.4. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of I final 4aboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions, applicable recommendations, <br /> including the feasibility of soil excavation if necessary,maps and cross-sections will be included in <br /> the report. The report will be in a format acceptable;to the EHD and the CVRWQCB, and will be <br /> reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geo;logist.If hydrocarbon-impacted ground Water <br /> is encountered at the site,a recommendation for theinstallation of ground water monitoring wells <br /> will be included in the report. <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE geologist or representative under the supervision <br /> of a California Professional Geologist.
