14 <br /> r. <br /> March 9, 1988 AGS 038009-1 <br /> Fire Engine Company No. 2, Stockton, California <br /> Included within this report are: l) a discussion of results of <br /> previous analyses of soil samples taken during tank removal <br /> operations, 2) a description of local topography, geology, and <br /> nearby streams, 3) a summary of available data regarding nearby <br /> water supply wells and other utilities, 4) proposed methods for <br /> delineating soil and ground-water contamination, including <br /> sampling locations and methodology, 5) a Site Vicinity Map, Plate <br /> P-1, showing the location of the site, 6) a Generalized Site <br /> Plan, Plate P-2, showing the approximate location of the former <br /> underground storage tank relative to site buildings and other <br /> landmarks, and 7) examples of a Field Boring Log, Plate P-3, a <br /> Boring Log Plate, Plate P-4, and a Chain of Custody Record, Plate <br /> P-5. <br /> The work elements included in the proposed investigation include <br /> collection and analysis of soil and ground-water samples at the <br /> site, interpretation of the collected data to evaluate whether <br /> the presence of possible contaminants is likely to have adverse <br /> effects on local gro4nd-water resources, and recommendation of a <br /> course of action involving further investigation or mitigation, <br /> if needed. <br /> 2 <br /> APPlred GeOSYSteXS <br />
