Copies of the Chain of Custody Records will be <br /> included in our final report. <br /> LABORATORY ANALYSES <br /> Selected soil and water samples will be analyzed for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) by the modified Environmental <br /> Protection Agency (FPA) Method 8015. The samples will also be <br /> analyzed for the volatile hydrocarbon constituents benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers (BETX) by EPA <br /> Methods 8020 (soil) and 602 (water) . Detection limits suitable <br /> for the tests requested and concentrations present will be stated <br /> on the laboratory report. The analyses will be facilitated <br /> through solvent extraction, gas chromatography separation, and <br /> photo- and flame-ionization detection, and will be performed by <br /> Applied GeoSystems' laboratory which is certified by the State of <br /> California for these analyses. Selected ground-water samples <br /> will also be analyzed for organic lead by CHEMWEST Analytical <br /> v <br /> Laboratories, Inc. of Sacramento, California, using methods <br /> recommended by the California Department of Health Services. <br /> 14 <br /> A,01/%e[' Geosotems — <br />
