6.0 INTERVIEWS AND USER PROVIDED INFORMATION 6.1 INTERVIEWS Pursuant to ASTM E1527-05, the following interviews were performed during this investigation in order to obtain information indicating RECs in connection with the subject property. 6.1.1 INTERVIEW WITH OWNER The subject property owner, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, was represented by Ms. Chet Socco of CBRE, the property manager for the subject property owner. Ms. Socco was contacted by phone and email on June 8-9, 2011. Ms. Socco has been associated with the subject property for four years. According to Ms. Socco, the subject property is equipped with an aboveground diesel fuel tank associated with the fire pump. Refer to Section 7.1 for further discussion. Additionally, Ms. Socco informed AEI that the current subject property building was constructed in November 2000 and was occupied by Advanced Packaging & Distribution for approximately 10 years. Advanced Packaging & Distribution utilized the subject property as a distribution center. Ms. Socco was asked if she was aware of any of the following: Any pending, threatened, or past litigation relevant to hazardous substances or petroleum products in on or from the property. Yes X No Any pending, threatened or past administrative proceedings relevant to hazardous substances or petroleum products in on or from the property. Yes X No Any notices from any governmental entity regarding any possible violation of environmental laws or possible liability relating to hazardous substances or petroleum products. Yes X No Any incidents of flooding, leaks, or other water intrusion, and/or complaints related to indoor air quality. Yes X No 6.1.2 INTERVIEW WITH KEY SITE MANAGER The key site manager Mr. Jeff Anecito, was interviewed during the site inspection on June 14, 2011. Mr. Anecito has been associated with the subject property for less than one month. Mr. Anecito provided general information regarding historic and current operations at the subject property. According to Mr. Anecito, the subject property has been vacant for approximately one month. The former occupant, Advanced Packaging & Distribution, operated a shipping and receiving facility which received and repackaged frozen foods, storing frozen foods in on-site freezers prior to redistribution. Mr. Anecito informed AEI that the large drain/washing area located within the subject property warehouse was used as a forklift washing area. Refer to Section 7.1 for further discussion of the forklift washing area. Mr. Anecito was asked if he was aware of any of the following: Any pending, threatened, or past litigation relevant to hazardous substances or petroleum products in on or from the property.
