1 <br /> IWAW <br /> 1 Working To Restore Nature <br /> The subject site is located on the southwest corner of Commerce Street and Sonora Street in <br /> Stockton, California, as shown on Plate 1, Site Vicuuty Map The location of the existing <br /> monitoring wells, vapor extraction wells, station building, former underground storage tanks <br /> (USTs), and other pertinent features are shown on Plate 2, Generalized Site Plan Between <br /> April 1, 1987 and October 28, 1993, six USTs were removed from the site The location of <br /> tanks T1 through T5 are shown on Plate 2. The exact location of tank T6 as not known, but the <br /> ' tank was located in the southeast portion of the site, near Commerce Street, and south of Church <br /> Street According to information provided to RESNA by PHS/EHD, samples obtained from the <br /> ' location of T6 following overexcavataon were below detection levels for gasoline hydrocarbons <br /> Appendix A contains records and laboratory analytical results of tests performed on soil samples <br /> ' obtained following removal of the various USTs The results were provided to RESNA by City <br /> of Stockton and PHS/EHD representatives. With the exception of UST T4 (350 gallon waste <br /> ' oil), RESNA was not associated with the UST removals <br /> The proposed scope of work outlined in this FRP consists of the engineering design, pernuttuag, <br /> construction, and start-up of a VES and groundwater extraction system at the subject site. The <br /> proposed remediation systems are intended to serve as remedial measures for onsite hydrocarbon <br /> impacted soil and groundwater associated with USTs T1 through T5. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> Fare Engine Company No. 2 is an operating Fare Station. The site is located in an area of <br /> ' commercial and residential development and as a predominantly asphalt- and concrete-covered <br /> lot The site is bound by West Sonora Street to the north, Commerce Street on the east, the <br /> property line to the south, and Madison Street on the west <br /> 38009-8U8009-8 FRP 2 <br />
