t <br /> l <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM --3- <br /> BEN'S TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT, INC. , <br /> AND JERRY ARBINI <br /> SOIL TREATMENT FACILITY <br /> TEHAMA COUNTY <br /> - TCLP for all metals and any compounds deteeted in analyses-by <br /> Methods 8240 and 8270 that are also listed in Section 66261 .24 of <br /> Title 22, CCR, under the TCLP test <br /> (Any compounds analyzed for but not detected <br /> in Methods 8240 and 8270 need not be analyzed in the TCLP test.) <br /> - PCBs. <br /> - Reactivity. <br /> - Corrosivity. <br /> - Others as determined by Regional Board staff. <br /> Board staff must be notified of any soils that contain components other than <br /> gasoline, diesel , oil and grease, or metals before transport to the site. For <br /> soils that are near hazardous levels, Board staff may require further testing. <br /> Soils that may contain a combination of diesel , gasoline, and waste oil , or <br /> are of unknown composition, will require all of the above tests. <br /> The above tests shall be performed once for each 100 yards of soil , or a <br /> minimum of two tests unless otherwise indicated. For soils that are contami- <br /> nated solely with diesel and/or gasoline that appear to have isolated and <br /> minor areas of very high contamination, the Discharger may institute an <br /> alternative method of testing for ignitability and bioassay at the approval of <br /> the Executive Officer. This testing shall include a minimum of four randomly <br /> selected soil samples, each of which shall be tested for toxicity (bioassay) <br /> and ignitability, as appropriate. Detection limits for analyses shall be as <br /> indicated in the LUFT Manual , Tri-Regional Guidelines for the Investigation <br /> and Remediation of Underground Tank Sites, or as approved by the Executive <br /> Officer. <br /> The results of the above testing shall be reported to the Board m g <br /> w4h the quantity and leeatien of material . in accordance with the <br /> schedule in NONHAZARDOUS SOLID WASTE MONITORING. <br /> SURFACE WATER MONITORING <br /> The Discharger shall establish surface water monitoring stations on Brickyard <br /> Creek above and below the point where runoff from the treatment facility may <br /> enter the stream channel (RI and R2, respectively) . <br />
