PROPOSAL FOR REMEDIATION SERVICES <br /> M1 MOBIL SERVICE STATION #10-NP4 <br /> Ar TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Some schedule items are dependent on regulatory and permitting <br /> agencies which may impose delays beyond our control. General i <br /> planned schedule and alternatives are discussed on a <br /> task-by-task basis below. <br /> Task 1 - Additional Information and Preparation of Site <br /> Remediation Work Plan System Design <br /> This task can begin immediately. We anticipate that this task <br /> will take approximately four to six weeks to complete. <br /> I <br /> Task 2 - Excavate and Dispose of Contaminated Soil <br /> This task, if required, will start coincident with Task 3 and <br /> should require one to two weeks to complete. <br /> Task 3 - Installation of Enhanced Soil and Groundwater <br /> Treatment System <br /> System installation can begin as soon as approval from Mobil <br /> is obtained. The system should be operational within four to <br /> six weeks. <br /> I <br /> Task 4 - Permitting <br /> I <br /> This work will begin immediately and is estimated to coincide <br /> with site construction activities. <br /> Task 5 - Regulatory Negotiations and Interaction <br /> Work on this task will begin immediately and likely continue <br /> throughout the duration of the work. <br /> Task 6 - Operations Maintenance, and Monitoring <br /> Monthly charges for operations and maintenance will begin when <br /> the system components are delivered to the site. The enhanced <br /> groundwater treatment system is estimated to be needed for one <br /> to three years. <br /> -12- <br />
