Installation of three monitoring well's to approximately 35 feet below surface grade(bsg)to <br /> investigate the vertical and lateral extent of residual soil contamination,and for collection of <br /> quarterly groundwater samples to investigate groundwater gradient and contamination. The <br /> three monitoring wells will be advanced approximately 25 feet east,30 feet southeast,and 40 <br /> feet west of the former underground storage tank(UST)location. Soil samples will be <br /> collected at five-foot intervals for lithological classification; and based on field conditions <br /> and observations, approximately three soil samples per boring will be analyzed for chemicals <br /> of concern. <br /> 2. Quarterly groundwater samples and selected soil samples from the well installations will <br /> be analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPH-G)by United States Environmental <br /> Protection Agency(EPA) SW-846 Method 8015B; <br /> • Benzene,toluene,ethyl benzene, and total xylenes(BTEX)by EPA SW-846 Method <br /> 8021B; <br /> • Methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE),tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA), di-isopropyl ether <br /> (DIPE),ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME), <br /> ethylene dibromide(EDB),and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA)by EPA SW-846 <br /> Method 8260B. <br />
