(Kleinfelder) on your behalf for the above-referenced site,Kleinfelder <br /> proposed the following: <br /> • Advancement of four push-probe borings to depths of approximately 15 to 25 feet <br /> below surface grade (bsg). One push-probe boring will be advanced to a depth of <br /> approximately 15 to 20 bsg at the site of the former underground storage tank(UST); <br /> the remaining three borings will be advanced approximately 20 to 25 feet bsg in a <br /> triangular pattern around the former UST site at distances of 10, 15, and 20 feet from <br /> the tank location. <br /> • Collection of soil samples at five-foot intervals,beginning at five feet bsg, for <br /> lithologic classification. <br /> • Collection of grab groundwater samples at each boring, if groundwater is encountered <br /> at approximately 20 feet bsg. <br /> • Three soil samples and possibly one groundwater sample will be analyzed from each <br /> of the four borings. <br /> • Groundwater and selected soil samples will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg)by Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) SW- <br /> 846 method 8015B, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, total xylenes (BTEX), methyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE), tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), <br /> ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME)by EPA SW- <br /> 846 method 8260B, and total lead by EPA SW-846 method 6010B. <br />
