(AGE) on your behalf for the above-referenced site. By letter dated
12 January 2011, the EHD had directed the CAP be submitted to this department.
The CAP consists ofthree sections:
(1) Problem Assessment Report (PAR)which includes:
• Mass estimate calculations of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination; AGE
estimates that approximately 1,836 pounds of total petroleum hydrocarbons as
gasoline (TPH-g) remain in soil, and approximately 71 pounds of TPH-g remain
in groundwater.
• Site Conceptual Model (SCM); AGE describes the release and distribution of
petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at the site, noting that most of the soil
contamination is located in the vadose zone directly beneath the former UST
area and the dissolved petroleum plume is centered near the former UST area
and monitoring well MW-10 directly south of the former UST area. The
groundwater flow direction in the shallow groundwater bearing zone
(appro kimately 16 to 21 feet bsg) varies from south to southeast.
Sensitive Receptor Survey (SRS); AGE reports that one municipal well and
possibly two domestic wells are located within an approximate 2,000-foot
radius of the site.
