Once the CAP has been submitted to this
department, it must be reviewed, not only by me, but by the professional geologist on staff. The geologist has so
much on his desk already, that it would be inappropriate to ask him to expedite your mother's site when he has so
many other sites already waiting to be reviewed.
I will do my best to review the CAP in a timely manner once I have received it, but please understand that I have
no control over how soon our dE partment will respond with approval/disapproval once the CAP has been
submitted.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: vnxcarincyii,)sjeehd.cum
From: judie kindle [mailto:tomballodi@gmail.com]
Sent: Monday, March 14, 20114:58 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Ce: acolavita@advgeoenv.com; rarjak
Subject: Turnpike Property, Stockton, Mabel Keir
Hi, Vicki, I'm writingith a special request based on my understanding that the allocation for
reimbursement for theext State fiscal year is very, very tight. Now that the ozone test seems to
have worked, the Corrective Action Plan (CAP)will be submitted to you hopefully by the end of
next week. It needs to lbe approved early May at the latest so that remediation equipment can be
invoiced out this fiscal year and Mom can be reimbursed. I know this doesn't allow you much
time for review and ap royal. However, my special request is that it does happen--that the CAP is
acceptable and approval can be given early in May. Not only would this help move the project
along but would be fin mcially good for Mom.
Please let me know if t iere is anything at all I can do to help. Don't know what that might be--but
I'd be willing to help ir any way you might suggest.
In the meantime, tha for being there to answer questions and speak to concerns as they have
come up.
Judie Kindle
3/15/2011
