1 <br />' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2006 <br /> LOPEZ PROPERTY <br />' 1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Mabel Keir, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 1601 Turnpike Road, Stockton, California (site) The <br /> scope of work included conducting a quarterly ground water monitoring event and the preparation <br /> of this report The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations <br /> are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> rWater Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites A historical site background is summarized in Appendix A <br /> 1 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Three monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-3) were monitored and sampled on 19 April 2006' <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and CVRWQCB <br /> guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br />' 21 QUARTERLY WELL MONITORING PROCEDURES <br />' On 19 April 2006,the depths to ground water in the three monitoring wells were measured from the <br /> top of each well casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter, ground water <br /> elevations for each well were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the <br />' surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) After water levels were measured, approximately 6 to 8 5 <br /> gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well) were purged from monitoring <br />' wells MW-1 through MW-3 using dedicated disposable plastic bailers Ground water temperature, <br /> pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water <br /> analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored in properly <br />' Iabeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums on-site <br />' 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each monitoring well using the dedicated, disposable plastic <br />' bailers after allowing the well to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume <br /> The samples from each well were transferred into three 40-milliliter (ml) volatile organic analysis <br /> .
