Cc: Environmental Compliance <EnvCompliance@dollargeneral.com>; Eric Voyles<evoyles@dollargeneral.com>
Subject: RE: HW Inspection Responses for San Joaquin Dollar General Locations
Importance: High
Hi Kristin,
Thank you for your response and additional documentation. Below is my follow up response.
1. Based on Dollar General's SOP 15, SOP 31, and Environmental Compliance Training Program policies it is my
understanding that expired over the counter medicines, including expired smoking cessation items, would be
considered "potential safety hazardous items" (SOP 15) and should be "scanned out" and placed in the
appropriate hazardous waste container immediately, rather than left in the Damage Control Center boxes which
are inspected only once a week. Please confirm if my understanding is correct.
2. Dollar General#13632: all hazardous waste violations are now closed.
3. Dollar General#13592:The following issues were found on the attached manifest correction letter:
a. The dates of service are incorrect for the highlighted manifests in the attached manifest correction
letter. The date of service should be the date the generator signed the manifest (generator date). Please
have the dates of service for the highlighted manifests corrected and re-submit the correction letter to
DTSC and to me.
b. The incorrect or incomplete item number from each manifest is not stated in the letter(i.e.The letter
should state that Item 1.,the Generator ID number, on each manifest is incorrect). Include the item
number and re-submit the correction letter to DTSC and to me.
c. The mailing address and phone number of the person submitting the correction is missing from the
letter. Include the person's mailing address and phone number and re-submit the correction letter to
DTSC and to me.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Elianna Florido, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
1868 East Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
P: (209)468-3420 1 F: (209)468-3433 1 E: eflorido@slgov.org
- SANJOAQUIN
COUM7Y
C;ratrss ..s 7-rr.
From: Kristin Elliott<kelliott@dollargeneral.com>
Sent:Wednesday, October 14, 2020 12:54 PM
To: Florido, Elianna [EHD] <eflorido@sigov.org>
Cc: Environmental Compliance <EnvCompliance@dollargeneral.com>; Eric Voyles<evoyles@dollargeneral.com>
Subject: RE: HW Inspection Responses for San Joaquin Dollar General Locations
CAUTION:This email is originated from outside of the organization.
