The
addendum letter was prepared in response to the Regional Board's 8 March 2002 Groundwater
Monitoring Well Installation Workplan Review. I have the following comments about the addendum
letter:
• The table lists Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD) as a laboratory procedure. Either replace COD
with Biological Oxygen Demand(BOD) or add BOD to the analyte list. Collect the BOD samples in
accordance with the EPA Method protocol.
• The schedule presented in the addendum letter does not provide 72-hours notification for installation
of the monitoring wells as was required in the 8 March 2002 Regional Board correspondence. In the
interest of moving the project ahead as quickly as possible, the schedule is approved.
If you have any questions about the comments provided, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMO R.
