Magnesium by EPA Method 6010. Nitrate-Nitrogen by EPA Method 300 Series. • Ammonia by EPA Method 350.3. • Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen by EPA Method 351.4. • pH by EPA Method 150.1. • Potassium by EPA Method 6010. • Sodium by EPA Method 6010. • Specific Conductivity by EPA Method 120.1. • Sulfate by EPA Method 300 Series. • Bicarbonate Alkalinity by EPA Method 310.1. • Total Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.1. • Fixed Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.4. • Total Hardness by EPA Method 130.2. 2.5 Residuals Management Residuals generated as a result of these field activities are anticipated to include soil cuttings from the drilling activities, decontamination water resulting from the drilling activities and development of the monitoring wells, and purge water from sampling of the monitoring wells. The soil cuttings will be distributed on the ground near each worksite. Water residuals will be distributed on the ground in a manner that does not affect worksite safety. 2.6 QA/QC Procedures Field QA/QC measures will include careful equipment decontamination between samples and sampling locations. In order to validate the groundwater sample results, duplicate groundwater samples will be collected and analyzed for the water quality constituents and parameters listed above. A duplicate sample will be collected immediately following collection of the primary sample during each sampling event. The results of the duplicate sample will be compared to the primary sample for consistency. The analytical laboratory will observe its customary internal QA/QC procedures during analysis of the samples. This will include such measures as analysis of method blanks, control spikes, and matrix spikes. The laboratory will be requested to meet analytical reporting limits consistent with prevailing industry standards for this type of site characterization.
