Kennedy/Jenks Colnaultw is
Analytical data received from the laboratory will be reviewed immediately upon receipt for
completeness and consistency. Any discrepancies will be discussed with the laboratory and
corrective measures, such as reanalysis or resampling, will be implemented if warranted.
2.7 Report Preparation and Submittal
The groundwater well installation and sampling activities will be described in a technical report
that will be submitted to the RWQCB no later than 30 April 2011. The well installation
information will be included with descriptions of other investigations performed to evaluate
sources of, and responses to, nitrogen in onsite groundwater. The technical report will include
the following information regarding the monitoring wells:
• Brief description of geologic/hydrogeologic conditions encountered during installation of
the additional groundwater monitoring wells.
• Updated site map showing facilities, well locations, and other major physical and man-
made features.
• Drilling details, including soil boring logs, a narrative description of field activities; well
construction details; well development information; and a well survey.
• Tabulated summaries of the groundwater monitoring data.
• Laboratory analytical data reports and chain-of-custody forms.
The Report will be signed and stamped by a California Professional Engineer or Geologist.
2.8 Anticipated Schedule
The monitoring wells will be installed and developed following receipt of approval from the
RWQCB on this Work Plan. Drilling permits will be submitted to the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department, as soon as the RWQCB provides approval of this Work Plan.
Drilling is currently scheduled to begin on 1 June 201 sco would like to complete
installation of the two additional wells, with int is groundwater samples collected, by
15 June 2010.
The newly installed wells will be incorporated into Musco's ongoing quarterly groundwater
monitoring and reporting program for at least one year. Depending upon the incremental value
of the water quality data provided by these monitoring wells, it is possible that one or both wells
will be properly abandoned after four quarterly monitoring events.
Preliminary Work Plan for Evaluation of Nitrogen in Groundwater Page 7
Musco Family Olive Company, Tracy, California
g:gegmgledminUbbTM201060o_mu=ofveTg epo Wtogen x pWWAt
