S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> YOUNG'S ACE HARDWARE 1 18960 N HWY 88 , LOCKEFORD January 15, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in <br /> accordance with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the <br /> designated facility which received the waste.This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years <br /> from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years,from 1/15/2017 through <br /> 1/25/2020,for all hazardous waste including the key shavings,which were determined to be a RCRA hazardous <br /> waste by the EHD in January 2015. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 <br /> days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action <br /> regarding the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years,from 1/15/2017 through <br /> 1/25/2020,for all hazardous waste including the key shavings,which were determined to be a RCRA hazardous <br /> waste by the EHD in January 2015.
