Use Safety Data Sheets (SDS),waste sampling and test <br /> results or other knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination. Waste testing must be done using <br /> methods specified in Title 22 CCR including sections 66261.20-24. <br /> 4. Submit a statement and supporting documentation with your hazardous waste determinations for each waste <br /> listed above. Demonstrate current storage and labeling for wastes determined to be hazardous wastes. Provide <br /> disposal records for wastes determined to be hazardous wastes and stored longer than the number of days <br /> specified in Title 22 CCR for your hazardous waste generator status. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 105 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No emergency coordinator. <br /> OBSERVATION: The modified contingency plan posted at the facility had the name of the previous store <br /> manager, Sharon Godat, as the primary emergency coordinator. Rindy Crawford is the current current store <br /> manager. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br /> arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of <br /> the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately update and post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement <br /> to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained.The facility does not have an employee training <br /> program in place. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with <br /> proper waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations <br /> and emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
