Van Buren <br /> Stockton,California Stockton,California <br /> Page 2 <br /> I SUBJECT SITES <br /> A. MADISON STREET PROPERTY <br /> The Madison Street property is bounded on the east by Madison Street, the north by <br /> Fremont Street, the west by Monroe Street, and the south by Lindsay Street (see Figure <br /> 1.). This property will be referred to as the Madison Street Property. <br /> Tank Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 were removed from the Madison Street Property. Tank <br /> Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 were removed from the Madison Street Property in 1986 and Tank <br /> Nos. 1, 2 and 8 were removed from the Madison Street Property in 1992. <br /> Some subsurface investigation has been performed in relation to Tank Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 <br /> by Resna (formerly WaterWork) and consists of installation and monitoring of 5 <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (CCMW1, CCMW2, CCMW4, CCMW5 and MW8) and <br /> at least 2 soil borings (CCSB1 and CCSB2). At this time no substantive data is known to <br /> • exist regarding soil or groundwater conditions related to Tank Nos. 1, 2 and 8 on the <br /> Madison Street Property. Tank No. 8 is reported to have contained Trichloroethane <br /> (TCA) solvent. <br /> B. VAN BUREN STREET PROPERTY <br /> The Van Buren Street Property is bounded on the east by Monroe Street, on the north by <br /> Fremont Street, Van Buren Street to the west, and Lindsay Street to the south (see Figure <br /> 1). For purposes of this IFB, this property will be referred to as the Van Buren Street <br /> Property. <br /> One tank(Tank. No. 7) was removed from the Van Buren Street Property. <br /> Tank No. 7 on the Van Buren Street Property has received some subsurface investigative <br /> work in the form of 4 groundwater monitoring wells (CCMW3, CCMW6, CCMW7 and <br /> MW9) and 3 soil borings (SB3, SB4 and SB5). <br /> • <br />
