1 <br /> i30 May 2001 <br />' AGE-NC Project No 95-0143 <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br />' Analytical results are summarized on Table 5 Analytical results or historical soil vapor samples are <br /> summarized on Table 6 The laboratory reports(MAI sample IDs 60298)and chain-of-custody forms <br /> are included in Appendix C <br />' 34 OPERATION OF SVE/IAS UNITS <br /> Following PHS-EHD approval,the SVE system was completely shut-down on 27 February 2001 due <br />' to continuing low to non-detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in the influent vapor <br /> stream The SVE system operated at a capacity of approximately 210 cubic feet per minute (cfm) <br /> during the portion of the quarter it was operating <br /> 1 <br /> 3 5 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES <br />' A total of eight soil samples were analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX, and seven fuel additives by EPA <br /> Method 8015, 8020 and 8260 Modified, respectively <br />' • TPH-g was detected in the two soil samples analyzed from EW-3 at concentrations 1,300 <br /> milligrams per kilogram(mg/kg) in the sample collected from 10 feet bsg to 4,900 mg/kg in <br />' the 25-foot sample TPH-g was not detected above laboratory reporting limits in the six <br /> samples analyzed from MW-22, 1\4W-23 and MW-24 <br /> Benzene was detected in soil sample EW3-25 at a concentration of 16 mg/kg Toluene, <br />' ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected in the two samples collected from EW-3 at <br /> concentrations as high as 240 mg/kg, 70 mg/kg and 470 mg/kg, respectively BTEX <br />' compounds were not detected in the six soil samples analyzed from MW-22, MW-23 and <br /> MW-24 <br /> • MTBE and other fuel additives were not detected above laboratory reporting limits in the <br />' eight analyzed samples collected from MW-22, MW-23, MW-24 and EW-3 <br /> I Soil samples were not analyzed from boring EW-4 because of the close proximity to EW-3 <br /> Analytical results of soil samples are summarized on Table 7 The laboratory reports (MAI Lab IDs <br /> 63355,63358, 63369,63370,63375,63376,63379 and 63380),quality assurance and quality control <br /> I (QA/QC) report and chain-of-custody forms are included In Appendix E <br /> 4.0 SUMMARY/CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes <br /> Advanced GeoEnviromnental,Inc <br />
