g . Connection to public sewers when they become available. , 4 . Building Inspection Division: * a. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division : ( 1) The proposed building shall be provided with an auto- matic fire sprinkler system. ( 2 ) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.A.C. , Title 24 ) . * b. A grading plan shall be submitted, and it shall be approved and a grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to the performance of any exca- vation of filling of earth material : ( 1) The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70 , Section 7006 (d) . ( 2 ) The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent parcels . Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. ( 3 ) Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements . " ( 4 ) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plan. ( 5 ) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. ( 6 ) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. * c. The construction site plan shall indicate the following: ( 1) Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The spaces shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance (C.A.C. , Title 24 ) . ( 2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including a "tow away" sign at each entrance, to be visible from each space (C.A.C. , Title 24 ) . ( 3 ) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4-inch per foot (C.A.C. , Title 24 ) . ` UP-90-9 (CASTEEL) -6- R-90-345
