Item No. 2
PC: 4-9-92
GP-89-11
Page 16
REFERRALS AND REPLIES
Application referrals describing the latest revision to the proposed land use diagram were mailed to public
agencies on January 24, 1992, with replies requested by February 24, 1992.
A comprehensive referral distribution was also completed on July 30, 1990, when the project was first
deemed complete but before the Environmental Impact Report was prepared.
Draft EIRs were distributed on December 16, 1991, and Final EIRs were distributed on March 26, 1992.
The commenting agencies listed below are only the ones that responded to the latest application referral.
Most agencies chose instead to comment on the EIR, and their comments are included in Volume III of
the Final EIR.
San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District (response: 2-20-92):
The District made no additional comments to those that they made on the Draft EIR.
City of Tracy (response: 2-24-92):
The City provided numerous detailed comments specifically related to the revisions in the land use
diagram. See the staff analysis (letter attached).
San Joaquin County Council of Governments (response: 1-31-92):
COG had no additional comments to those expressed in their comment letter on the Draft EIR.
San Joaquin County Department of Parks and Recreation (response: 2-6-92):
Parks and Recreation had no comment.
San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation (response: 2-23-92):
The Farm Bureau supports the proposed GPA as long as specified mitigation measures are imposed.
They assert that development should first occur on non-contracted land, as they cannot support the
findings for cancellation.
NOTE: A copy of the full agency and public distribution list for the Mountain House General Plan
Amendment and related Williamson Act Contract Cancellations is available from the
Planning Division.
