The owner or operator shall make this certification at <br /> least annually and shall retain these copies as part of <br /> the facility' s written operating record as required in <br /> conditions III.N.2.a(8) and III.N.3.a of this permit. <br /> 2. The owner or operator shall comply with California Health <br /> and Safety Code, Article 11.9 for the implementation of <br /> hazardous waste source reduction and management review <br /> program. <br /> III. SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> A. Prohibition of Disposal <br /> Hazardous wastes shall not be permanently disposed of at the <br /> facility, unless such disposal is properly permitted. <br /> B. Wastes Prohibited <br /> Hazardous wastes described below shall not be handled at the <br /> facility: <br /> 1. Extremely hazardous wastes as defined in Sections 66720 <br /> and 66723, Title 22, CCR, unless specifically approved by <br /> the Department; <br /> 2. Forbidden and Class A explosives as defined in <br /> Sections 173.51 and 173.53, Title 49, CFR; <br /> 3. Any hazardous wastes not listed in the approved Operation <br /> Plan or otherwise approved by the Department; and <br /> 4. Any hazardous waste generated outside the premises of the <br /> facility. <br /> C. Storage Conditions <br /> 1. Storage in Containers <br /> a. Containers holding hazardous wastes shall be stored <br /> only in the area designated in the approved <br /> Operation Plan. <br /> b. A container holding hazardous waste shall remain <br /> closed during storage, except when it is necessary <br /> to add or remove waste. <br /> C. A container holding hazardous waste shall not be <br /> handled or stored in a manner which might rupture <br /> the container or cause it to leak. <br /> -9- <br />
