INTRODUCTION <br /> This Closure Plan has been developed using requirements as outlined by RCRA. <br /> This Closure Plan identifies the regulatory requirements , the general closure <br /> procedures and the site specific closure procedures. <br /> REGULATIONS <br /> 40 CFR 264. 112 is the Federal Regulation which requires the development and <br /> implementation of a closure plan. <br /> GENERAL CLOSURE PROCEDURES <br /> NAVCOMMSTA Stockton Public Works will amend this plan within 15 days after a <br /> change occurs in the design and/or operation of any hazardous waste facility. <br /> At least 180 days prior to closure of the facility, NAVCOMMSTA Stockton Public <br /> Works will notify California Department of Health Services (DOHS)' of its <br /> intent. Included in the notification will be a final closure schedule and a <br /> list of closure quality assurance (QA) procedures . NAVCOMMSTA Stockton Public <br /> Works will coordinate with DOHS to schedule interim and final inspection as <br /> part of the QA Plan. <br /> During closure , NAVCOMMSTA Stockton Public Works will provide copies of <br /> closure contracts , test results and other pertinent information to DOHS. <br /> Upon closure , the government and an independent Civil Engineer registered in <br /> the State of California will certify that the closure was performed in <br /> accordance with NAVCOMMSTA Stockton's approved closure plan. <br /> The closure procedures will ensure the removal of contaminated materials from <br /> each worksite to eliminate health and safety hazards as well as post closure <br /> maintenance if required. <br /> SITE SPECIFIC CLOSURE PROCEDURES <br /> Satellite Accumulation Area - Bldgs 617, 8160 and 508. <br /> Estimated Closure Date: Year 2040 based on useful life of 45 years . <br /> B508 MAXIMUM INVENTORY <br /> Item Container Maximum Quantity <br /> Waste Oil DOT Drums 50 G <br /> Oily Rags DOT Drums 200 P <br /> Oil Filters DOT Drums 200 P <br /> Oil/Water DOT Drums 600 P <br /> _ Separator Sludge <br /> Waste Diesel DOT Drums 80 G <br /> Waste Antifreeze DOT Drums 50 G <br /> B617 <br /> Waste Oil DOT Drums 50 G <br /> Oily Rags DOT Drums 200 P <br /> Oil Filters DOT Drums 200 P <br /> 1 <br />
