0 0 <br /> HHM Program Roles and Responsibilities SAF 09-65 Handling Hazardous Materials <br /> Roles and Listed below are the associate HHM responsibilities by title: <br /> responsibilities at <br /> the store job Iesartptiari HHI ]leson )iilities <br /> Store Manager • Ultimately responsible for the execution of the HHM <br /> Program <br /> • Ensuring that the fertilizer run (Outside Garden),central <br /> storage area and satellite storage area(s)are properly <br /> maintained <br /> • Ensuring that the emergency contact list is current and <br /> posted.See "Procedures for Emergency Information" on <br /> page 62 <br /> • Reviewing,checking completion, and signing the Daily <br /> Hazardous Waste Area Inspection Form when on duty <br /> • Ensuring that any necessary corrective actions are <br /> immediately taken and fully completed <br /> • Verifying that the waste transporter picks up wastes and <br /> that hazardous waste manifests and associated shipping <br /> papers are completed, signed, and copies filed in the <br /> HHM Records Binder <br /> • Notifying vendors,contractors and suppliers of the <br /> proper procedures to follow in the event of a spill <br /> Operations ASM • As the Manager of Receiving (including RTV), <br /> responsible for ensuring proper management of all HHM <br /> activities in this area, including the central storage area <br /> • Ensuring that all compactor policies and procedures are <br /> properly executed at all times <br /> RTV Associate • Completing the Daily Hazardous Waste Area Inspection <br /> Form and filing it in the HHM Records Binder <br /> • Completing daily reviews of the Daily Hazardous Waste <br /> Area Inspection Form and the Sweep Calendar Log <br /> Printing the final,signed copies of all hazardous waste <br /> manifests off the online system within 30 days after each <br /> waste pick-up and filing them in the HHM Records <br /> Binder <br /> • Emptying the red metal cans in D-24 and D-26 at the end <br /> of each day <br /> • Updating the Operations ASM as HHM issues arise. <br /> • Preparing for waste pick-ups <br /> • Ordering of HHM supplies as needed on eBuy <br /> Revised: 12 January 2007 13 <br />
