0 0 <br /> HHM Program Roles and Responsibilities SAF 09-65 Handling Hazardous Materials <br /> For more information on 3E's role,see"Government Disclosures,Agency <br /> Inspection or Approvals"on page 64. <br /> At this time,PSC provides our locations with waste transportation and disposal. <br /> PSC is responsible for the following: <br /> ■ Preparing waste for shipment from stores to a licensed disposal facility <br /> in Preparing manifests and shipping documents for transportation <br /> ■ Loading the containers for transport <br /> ■ Transportation <br /> ■ Proper recycling,treatment,and disposal at an approved and licensed <br /> location. <br /> Contractors, To ensure that our contractors,suppliers, and vendors adhere to the HHM <br /> suppliers and Program when performing their duties,the Store Manager must advise them of <br /> vendors the following procedures: <br /> ■ If a spilled material is identified,the contractor, supplier or vendor must <br /> immediately secure the area and contact a The Home Depot designated HHM <br /> associate.They must not attempt to clean up the spill themselves. <br /> ■ While stocking in outside Garden fertilizers aisles,it is acceptable to patch and <br /> overpack in accordance with the markdown policy as long as warnings and <br /> labels are legible(see "Torn or ripped bags of fertilizer" on page 22).Any spill <br /> of fertilizer must be swept up and once accumulated in a pile, a Garden <br /> Associate must be contacted to complete the waste handling process. <br /> Store management The store management team and designated HHM associates are the primary <br /> and designated individuals responsible for the HHM Program.As shown in the table below, <br /> HHM associates each role has key functions to successfully perform to ensure the overall <br /> compliance of the store. <br /> 12 Revised: 12 January 2007 <br />
