Observed spillage in Building A, in Building D, alley between Building B and C, on <br />shelves and lab bench, in and outside berm area of tank clusters. Also generator stated <br />the spillage during previous inspection (solvent waste, chemical powder, corrosive liquid <br />inside berm, staining or dry puddles from spillage of oily, corrosive or unknown <br />substances at the tank cluster) has been cleaned up, and provided no disposal records; <br />solvent waste was disposed properly manifest copies attached, powder and liquid <br />spillage gets collected and put back into mixer for production. Facility will be maintain <br />and operated to minimize the possibility of fire, explosion or release of hazardous waste <br />to the air, soil or surface water to avoid the threat of human health or the environment. <br />304. No spill control, equipment appropriate for various chemicals. Facility shall be <br />equipped with portable fire extinguisher, fire control equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment for release of hazardous waste; <br />appropriate equipment provided in building as well as fire extinguishers, eye wash <br />stations etc. see a attached image#19-22. <br />404. Multiple hazardous waste containers were not closed at the lab, and outside; all <br />hazardous waste containers will be maintained closed except when adding or removing <br />waste see attached image#21-24. <br />407. Multiple empty hazardous waste/material container greater the 5 -gallon volume <br />drums outdoor yard not labeled with the date when they became empty. Containers <br />that previously held a hazardous material or waste shall be marked with the date they <br />were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark all <br />such empty containers. Containers get filled and emptied on a regular bases, empty <br />containers get reused for temporarily storage . See attached image#25. <br />605 & 701. Multiple hazardous waste containers cited, not labeled properly; hazardous <br />waste will be disposed properly no longer than 180 days, containers have been marked <br />with the appropriate information, name address of generator, hazardous properties, <br />physical state, content and accumulation start date.
