Facility will be maintain and operated to minimize the possibility of fire, explosion or release of hazardous waste to the air, soil or surface water to avoid the threat of human health or the environment. 304. Multiple hazardous waste containers were not closed at the lab, and outside; all hazardous waste containers will be maintained closed except when adding or removing waste see attached image#21-24. 407. Multiple empty hazardous waste/material container greater the 5 -gallon volume drums outdoor yard not labeled with the date when they became empty. Containers that previously held a hazardous material or waste shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark all such empty containers. Containers get filled and emptied on a regular bases, empty containers get reused for temporarily storage . See attached image#25. 605 & 701. Multiple hazardous waste containers cited, not labeled properly; hazardous waste will be disposed properly no longer than 180 days, containers have been marked with the appropriate information, name address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, content and accumulation start date.
