SPCC PLAN Stockton Center 21 <br /> The tanks are placarded in accordance with UFC 79.110 and UFC Standard No. 79-3 <br /> identifying the contents of the tank. <br /> Facility Tank Truck Unloading <br /> There is employee oversight during any delivery or draining Operations: <br /> - No tanks are filled without first checking the available reserves. <br /> All transfers of fluids from the trucks to the tanks or the tanks to the trucks are, <br /> continuously attended both by the tank truck driver and Martin-Brower personnel. All hoses <br /> on the tank truck are to have caps. If the tanker's hoses do not have caps, the vendor will <br /> not be allowed to deliver until the caps are obtained. <br /> .0 GENERAL SPCC PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES. <br /> The Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation of the SPCC Plan. The <br /> Service Manager may be designated as Coordinator of this program. <br /> Duties and Responsibilities of the SPCC Coordinator include: <br /> 1. Identify materials and wastes involved in a spill or release. <br /> 2. Coordinates spill response or clean-up activities <br /> a. activate spill procedures <br /> b. assess health and environmental hazards <br /> C. take reasonable steps to stabilize the situation. <br /> 3. Notify Manager and proper authorities. <br /> 4. Identify potential spill sources and implement preventative steps to <br /> eliminate or reduce spill or release risks. <br /> 5. Conduct facility inspections, monitoring or testing. <br /> 6. Train and review SPCC procedures with shop employees. <br /> 7. Establish revisions to the SPCC Plan as needed to meet the needs of <br /> the facility changes or revisions. <br /> 8. Make recommendations to corporate management for revisions to the <br /> overall plan as deemed necessary. <br /> -16- <br />
