Response procedures to be followed in the event of a release <br /> Written documentation is kept for all employees trained in spill response procedures (refer <br /> to Exhibit D for a copy of the required training documentation). <br /> All shop employees are trained to handle minor accidents or spills. The level of training is <br /> an in-house training program designed to assist employees with spill response skills and <br /> procedures and a basic knowledge of the use of on- site emergency response equipment. <br /> The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for training shop personnel in the facility leak and spill <br /> control procedures which includes the clean up or containment of spills or releases, spill <br /> notification procedures, and describes follow-up reporting and documentation required <br /> after an, occurrence at the facility. The Fleet Supervisor also trains employees in the use <br /> of spill response equipment and informs them of their locations at the facility. Site <br /> evacuation procedures are also be reviewed during training. <br /> The above information will be routinely presented to employees in an annual Spill <br /> Prevention Briefing. The briefings will also address known spill events or failures, <br /> malfunctioning equipment, and recently developed precautionary measures. <br /> 12.0 HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM <br /> The facility also has an OSHA compliant Hazard Communication Program which it <br /> presented annually by the Fleet Supervisor. This program was established to provide <br /> employees with the Right-To-Know (RTK) Hazard Communications training in compliance <br /> with 29 CFR 1910.1200. This program also helps employees understand the nature of the <br /> chemical products used within the facility, where to gain access to all Material Safety Data <br /> Sheets (MSDS) in the event of an emergency, and the potential health or environmental <br /> hazards associated with the use of shop chemicals within the facility. <br /> -18- <br />
