SEP PO`_i <br />BR/DCESTME <br />++u�, <br />� 6ridgestone Retail Operations <br />• To ensure stores comply with California laws and regulations that protect the environment. <br />• N/A k <br />Store Manager: IAS EN Tai <br />• Ensure that all containers are properly labeled. <br />• Ensure that containers of waste are being properly managed. <br />• Ensure that accumulation limits on waste are being observed. <br />• Ensure that all records are being properly maintained. <br />• Ensure that all required inspections are documented and being completed in a timely manner. <br />• Ensure that all required Proposition 65 signage is properly displayed. <br />• Ensure that Store Teammates are attending required training. <br />Region Manager and Area Manager: <br />• Oversight of California environmental compliance for Stores. <br />• Acting as a liaison with the Environmental Group to resolve state environmental issues which may be <br />beyond the Store Manager's resources to complete. <br />• Certifying correction of California "items of concern" identified in environmental audits of each store. <br />• Support for stores during and following inspections. <br />• Ensure compliance with BSRO image standards. <br />Environmental Group: <br />• Emergency assistance and consultation with California compliance issues. <br />• Answering inquiries on how to precede with state environmental compliance issues. <br />• Contract and evaluate vendors. <br />• Oversight of the Environmental Self -Audit and other environmental surveys or audits. <br />Store Manager, Service Manager and Vehicle Service Teammates: <br />Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste <br />California is unique from many other states in that it chooses to regulate used oil, used brake fluid, non - <br />empty aerosol cans, used antifreeze and waste absorbent as Hazardous Waste. It is the Store <br />Manager's responsibility to ensure that hazardous waste is being managed to maintain compliance with <br />California hazardous waste regulations.
