Required Equipment <br /> (a) Upon the effective date of this permit, the owner or operator <br /> shall have available at the facility all required safety and <br /> emergency equipment as described in the approved Operation <br /> Plan. <br /> (b) The facility water supply system shall be capable of providing <br /> water in adequate volume and pressure to maintain water hose <br /> streams. <br /> (c) Owner or operator shall maintain access to communication or <br /> alarm system specified in the approved Operation Plan. <br /> 11. Testing and Maintenance of Equipment <br /> All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection <br /> equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment <br /> shall be tested and maintained as described in the approved Opera- <br /> tion Plan. <br /> 12. Required Aisle Space <br /> The owner or operator shall maintain aisle space as described in <br /> the approved Operation Plan. <br /> 13. Arrangements With Local Authorities <br /> (a) Upon the effective date of this permit, all emergency response <br /> arrangements made by the facility with local authorities as <br /> described in the approved Operation Plan shall have been <br /> effected. <br /> (b) If local authorities refuse to enter into preparedness and <br /> prevention arrangements with the owner or operator, the owner <br /> or operator shall document this refusal in the operating <br /> record. <br /> 14. Contingency Plan <br /> (a) Maintenance <br /> Upon the effective date of this permit, the owner or operator <br /> shall follow the contingency plan described in the approved <br /> Operation Plan. <br /> -14- <br />
