Tank Construction: <br /> UL rated Rectangular Double Wall AST on PCC Pad, orientated with long axis is in an <br /> East West direction at the, south end of truck repair shop, under metal roof. <br /> Steel 500 GA nominal 10 gage wall thickness (inner and outer shells per manufacturer <br /> representative and on-site inspection. <br /> Exterior paint is in good condition. AST is supported on concrete foundation by three <br /> fork lift access channels welded to bottom of the AST. UL Tag No. is 681199 and <br /> undated manufacturer information is affixed to the top of the outer shell. <br /> Piping and Ancillary Equipment. <br /> None; supplied with flexible rubber hose from inside of shop building. <br /> Float actuated tank gage. <br /> Material Characteristics 191(g)(7)/192(k)(8) <br /> Used motor oil, assume SpG is 0.91 Operating Capacity at 90% maximum tank volume <br /> is 467 GA. Nominal 500 GA AST. <br /> Chemical Compatibility Findings: The materials identified above are compatible for contact <br /> with or proximity to the equipment, tank system in this assessment. <br /> Initials: <br /> Visual Inspection: 191(g)(8)/192(k)(9) <br /> The tank was partially filled with waste oil at the time of my inspection. There were no <br /> external signs of leakage. Tank was supported about 1.5 IN above concrete foundation <br /> and slightly away from the adjacent metal shop building allowing full observation. <br /> Visual Inspection Findings: A visual inspection and its affiliated pumps, piping and ancillary <br /> equipment did not reveal signs of leaks, corrosion, weld cracks or breaks, or scrapes in <br /> protective coating which may cause a release from the tank system.
