The major electrical artery for the plant that traverses the Plating Room is
severely degraded to the point that it is a life safety issue and shall be replaced by
October 4, 2003. The remainder of the electrical in these areas and ancillary areas are
compromised due to vapors deteriorating the metal raceways in which the electrical
wiring is encapsulated. Converted to PVC conduit is recommended because of the
corrosive vapors. This will include enclosing all exposed wires not protected located in
the Plating room and ancillary areas.
