Mr. Doug Baker December 30, 1986 <br /> o Verification that employees have received training along <br /> with the date training was completed. <br /> Violation #4 - By January 30, 1987, a Contingency Plan shall be <br /> submitted to this Department. See Attachment 1 for an example. <br /> Violation #5 - Effective immediately hazardous wastes stored in <br /> drums shall remain covered except when filling or emptying drum <br /> contents. <br /> Violation #6 - Delta may be a candidate for a variance from <br /> permitting requirements. By January 30, 1987, Delta will submit <br /> a completed application for a Hazardous Waste Permit Variance <br /> (Attachment 3) . Send the application to the attention of Dr. <br /> James T. Allen at the letterhead address. <br /> Violation #7 - Immediately cease discharge into the common sump <br /> until a written evaluation is submitted verifying no hazard is <br /> posed by mixing the incompatible wastes. <br /> When the corrections are complete, please send written certification, <br /> which contains the sample certification statement indicated on <br /> Attachment 2 to this office. <br /> The issuance of this Notice of Violation and Schedule for Compliance <br /> does not preclude DHS from taking administrative, civil, or criminal <br /> action as a result of the violations noted herein. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this Notice, please contact Lorna <br /> Dobrovolny, at (916) 739-3139 . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Mark Lear <br /> Senior Hazardous Materials <br /> Specialist <br /> Attachment <br /> LD: ld <br /> cc: -, Mr. C.
