REPRODUCED AT GOVERNMENT EXPEN Ee m <br />1.3.4 Person: The term "person" means associations, companies, <br />corporations, educational institutions, firms, government agencies at the <br />Federal, State, and local level, partnerships, and societies, as well as <br />divisions thereof, and individuals. <br />1.3.5 Testing Laboratory: The term "testing laboratory" means any "person", <br />as defined above, whose functions include testing, analyzing, or inspecting, <br />"products" as defined above, evaluating the designs or specifications <br />of such "products" according to the requirements of applicable standards. <br />1.3.6 Certified Test Reports: Test reports signed by an authorized official <br />stating that tests were performed in accordance with the test method <br />specified, that the results reported are accurate, and that items tested <br />either meet or fail to meet the stated minimum requirements. These test <br />reports include those performed by Factory Mutual, Underwriters' Labora- <br />tories, Inc., and others. <br />1.3.7 Certified Inspection Reports: Reports signed by approved inspectors <br />attesting that the items inspected meet the specification requirements other <br />than any exception included in the report. <br />1.3.8 Manufacturer's Certificate of Conformance: A certificate signed by an <br />authorized manufacturer's official attesting that the material or equipment <br />delivered meets the specification requirements. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS: Prepare in accordance with the Contract Clauses and General <br />Paragraphs and submit to the Contracting Officer for approval. Each <br />submittal shall be accompanied with a cover letter signed by the Contractor. <br />Clearly mark each item proposed to be incorporated into the contract and <br />identify in the submittals, with cross-references to the contract drawings <br />and specifications so as to identify clearly the use for which it is intended. <br />Stamp each sheet of submittal with the Contractor's certification stamp. <br />Data submitted in a bound volume or on one sheet printed on two sides, may be <br />stamped on the front of the first sheet only. The Contractor's certification <br />stamp shall be worded as follows: <br />"It is hereby certified that the (equipment) (material) shown and marked <br />in this submittal is that proposed to be incorporated into Contract <br />Number , is in compliance with the Contract drawings and <br />specifications, can be installed in the allocated spaces, and is submitted <br />for Government approval. <br />Certified by <br />Date <br />The person signing the certification shall be one designated in writing by <br />the Contractor as having that authority. The signature shall be in original <br />ink. Stamp signatures are not acceptable. <br />1.4.1 Submittal Status Logs: Within 15 calendar days after receipt of the <br />"Notice of Award", the Contractor shall submit to the Contracting Officer as <br />part of the CI plan four copies of a submittal status log listing all <br />� N = <br />IffitolkMA <br />
