A listing of outside organizations such as testing laboratories, <br />architects, and consulting engineers that will be employed by the Contractor, <br />and a description of the services these firms will provide. <br />e. Procedures for reviewing all samples, certificates,, or other <br />submittal for contract compliance, including the name of the person(s) <br />authorized to sign the submittal for the Contractor, as complying with the <br />contract. <br />f. An inspection schedule, following the order of the specification <br />technical sections, indicating what inspections and tests, the names of <br />persons responsible for the inspection and testing for each segment of work, <br />and the time schedule for each inspection and test. The phases of control, <br />which are the preparatory, initial, and follow-up, will be addressed. <br />g. The procedures for documenting quality control operation, inspection, <br />and testing with a copy of all forms and reports to be used for the purpose. <br />The Contractor shall include a submittal status log listing all submittal <br />required by the specifications and stating the action required by the <br />Contractor or the Government. The Contractor shall also prepare and maintain <br />a testing plan which shall contain a listing of all tests required in the <br />contract. Sample forms for the Submittal Status Log and Testing Plak, are <br />attached and may be used by the Contractor for these purposes; any other <br />formats must contain the same information as shown on the sample forms. <br />1.2.2 Contractor Inspection (CI) Plan Meeting: At least 5 days after the CI <br />Plan is submitted, but before construction operations begin, the Contractor <br />shall meet with the Contracting Officer to discuss quality control <br />requirements. The purpose of the meeting shall be to develop a mutual <br />understanding relative to details of the system, including forms to be used <br />for recording the inspection operations, tests, approvals, certifications, <br />administration of the system and Government surveillance. <br />1.3 DEFINITIONS: <br />1.3.1 Factory Tests: Tests made on various products and component parts <br />prior to shipment to the job site, including but not limited to, such items as <br />transformers, boilers, air conditioning equipment, electrical equipment and <br />precast concrete. <br />1.3.2 Field Tests: Tests or analyses made at, or in the vicinity of the job <br />site in connection with the actual construction. <br />1.3.3 Product: The term, "product" includes the plural thereof and means a <br />type or a category of manufactured goods, constructions, installations and <br />natural and processed materials or those associated services whose <br />characterization, classification or functional performance determination is <br />specified by standards. <br />
