RrPRODUCED AT GOVERNMENT EXPENSE - <br />2.1-3.1 Laboratory Inspection: Prior to approval the laboratory shall <br />submit in writing the following: <br />a. Functional description of the laboratories organizational <br />structure, operational department and support departments and <br />services. <br />b. A list and resume of the personnel assigned to the proposed <br />testing, including the person charged with engineering managerial <br />responsibility. <br />c. Affidavit of compliance with the applicable ASTM publication and <br />certification that the laboratory performs work in accordance with <br />technical requirements as required by the contract specifications. <br />d. A list of test and inspection equipment for each of the proposed <br />test procedures and certification that the equipment is calibrated <br />at prescribed intervals to insure the validity of the test and <br />inspection data. <br />e. A copy of the latest Laboratory Inspection Report by an independent <br />agency with laboratory certification that deficiencies (if any) have <br />been corrected. <br />2.1.4 Repeated Tests and Inspections: The Contractor shall repeat tests and <br />inspections after each correction 1- to nonconforming materials and <br />workmanship until tests and inspections indicate the materials, equipment and <br />workmanship conform to the contract requirements. The retesting and <br />reinspections shall be performed at no additional cost to the Government. <br />2.1.5 Daily Report to Inspector: The signed, "Daily Report to Inspector" <br />Form NAVFAC 4330/34 shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM <br />on the working day following the day the work was performed. <br />2.1.6 Monthly Report to Contracting Officer: A summary report shall also be <br />submitted at the end of each month.
