WEATHER <br />No Interruption_ No Pr=ecipitation <br />Temperature Min 68F Max 94F <br />Subject: General Comments: <br />Geo -Fon crew arrived at 0600 hrs. Excavating operations were continued_ Once <br />again, there were no noticable stains around the UST and PID readings were less <br />than 5 ppm_ Two of the lids from the UST (South location) were removed. The <br />piping was removed. liquid from the pipe were collected in 5 gallon buckets and <br />then dumped into the UST_ No spillage. All of the piping was triple rinsed <br />into the UST_ The piping was stockpiled at the west end location on top of <br />visqueen. The outer fiberglass secondary containment piping was removed from <br />the piping_ All of the piping was cut into manageable sizes. All of the <br />manhole covers and rebar (removed from the concrete prior to off hauling) were <br />stockpiled at the north end away from the excavation_ <br />Subject: Safety: Inspections made, Deficiencies noted: <br />General safety was discussed. Workers were reminded of the heat stress related <br />issues_ Workers were also told to observes all safety regarding heavy <br />equipment traffic_ <br />4. PREP/INITIAL INSPECTIONS <br />Preparatory Inspection was held today for BACKFILL & SITE RESTORATION. <br />Preparatory Inspection was held today for SAMPLING. <br />Preparatory inspection was held today for UST REMOVAL. <br />8.
