Geofon crew also placed a pipe stand in <br />the generator building and in front of the AST pad- I gave Don Valentine the <br />crane certifications_ He stated that the load certifications were acceptable. <br />I informed Don of a schedule change. We will not be excavating the 2-12.000 <br />gallon USTs until the last week of the month_ This is because of a prior <br />engagement. Don stated that he had no problem with this as long as the project <br />is completed within the contracted time. I also updated the report in/outs and <br />hard copy dailies up to 4/24/01. Don stated that he was very satisfied with <br />project progress so far. Dan Beever visited the site and also stated his <br />satisfaction. Dan also stated that hewould have all of the required <br />obsticles removes from the AST area. I noticed that all of the obsticles were <br />moved at approximately 1S30hrs. <br />Subject: Safety Inspections/Meetings: <br />Workers reviewed lifting and twisting safety tips. We also discussed nor- <br />weather <br />otweather issues relating to heat stress. Workers were reminded to drink plenty <br />of water and or liquids such as gatorade and other thirst quenching drinks. <br />8.
